Slime Party UK is a company that started from a simple idea and has grown into something truly incredible. It all began when Ruby was helping her daughters make slime in the kitchen. The experience was so much fun that Ruby decided to share it with others by organising a workshop in the local village hall.
The workshop was a huge success, and it sparked the birth of Slime Party UK. Ruby set up a Facebook page to spread the word, and soon enough, people from all over the UK were requesting slime parties and workshops. The demand was so high that Ruby had to expand and move from the kitchen to a little workshop to house all the slime party supplies.
However, in 2020, everything come to a halt due to the pandemic. Ruby was forced to stop the in-person parties and workshops, but she didn’t let that stop her. Determined to continue spreading joy and creativity, she put together DIY slime kits and built a website to offer them to families at home. The DIY slime kits became incredibly popular, proving that people still wanted to have fun and get creative even during challenging times.
Ruby didn’t stop there. She had a vision to create a sensory product that was just as fun as slime but with less mess! After numerous trials, tests, and countless late nights, Ruby finally came up with the perfect solution – sensory putty. This new product offered all the excitement and sensory experience of slime, but with a cleaner and more manageable texture.
In 2022, Ruby officially launched the sensory putty on her website, and it quickly caught the attention of a keen-eyed retailer who loved it and wanted to stock it. Word spread, and soon more and more shops wanted to carry the sensory putty. The success of Slime Party UK and its sensory putty has led to the establishment of the Slime Party UK factory in Yorkshire where our team (the putty people) manufacture all our awesome putties.
