What is slime?

Slime is a polymer made up of very large chains of molecules. Chemical bonds are formed when you mix the PVA glue and a slime activator together. Activators (saline solution, borax or liquid starch) change the position of the molecules in the glue this process is called cross-linking.

 

My slime is sticky

Slime is best kept in a cool environment away from heat and direct sunlight as this can melt your slime.

Sometimes slime can start to deactivate during shipping, this can be due to changes in temperatures on its journey.

If your slime has become sticky It can be easily be fixed. In your order we include activator and an a care sheet.  Follow the directions on the sheet to restore the slime to its perfect texture.

Always make sure that your slime in kept an airtight container when not in use.

 

What is slime made from?

Slime is made from PVA glue and activator, other ingredients include: lotion, fragrance oils, pigments, glitter, shaving foam, clay, instant snow and foaming soap.

 

I’m buying slime as a gift, will it keep?

We don’t recommend buying slime well in advance and slime deactivates over time. We recommend purchasing your slime as close to date as possible (we have very fast and reliable shipping)
